Hello,

I'm in an organisation that is reviewing it's strategy on the dreaded 'Document Management' and the controls based around it...

We have been given a solution called Laserfiche.

Has anyone used it? - is there an alternatives that you could recommend?

We are looking to run in Office 365 in the near future, and would like some thoughts with Document Management.

What kind of document types are you looking at primarily?

90% are Office docs
5% are PDF
5% everything else

Government uses OpenText a lot (see link here). Objective is used at some departments, and is often cursed. Never heard of Laserfiche.

If you are going office 365, why not investigate SharePoint with revision history, check in and out etc? We have found it to be excellent and work very well. Very fast and integrates with Office perfectly.
