I see an opportunity for Geekzone to have some kind of downvoting so the community can self manage these posts off the site.  As the community grows eventually it won't be possible for admin's to read every post.

Leverage the power of the community etc..

Yes, and thus the start with the "Trusted" users. We have to implement a way that would prevent users doing a mob-style feedback on some new person just because of its naive question. Or some people like good old Grantis who would certainly voted down anything against Vodafone (he was banned from here as well as from other forums IIRC).

I am at the moment creating some edit/change tracking code (hey Johnr all your EDITS timestamps will show up!) to make it easier for users to know when people change things after they replied. Then we will have something for the community to moderate itself.
