Hey Guys,
I'm looking to get a new Tower server for a branch office. The supplier I have been using up until now, Public Technology has been OK however my last experience with them ahs been shocking. It took about 20 emails for them to finalize what I wanted (should have been 2-3 amx) and they sent the wrong parts, get this not once or twice - but 5 times. Joke.

Anyway Im looking for a supplier with good service, with a person who I can say I want to run VMware (or whatever), I will be using it for XYZ tasks and need at least X disk space. This seems too much for the likes of Public so I'm wondering who else is out there? I'm looking for good services/good value and for companies who have options for renting, lease to own etc.

Recommendations welcome!

If needed, they can also Colo the server in their Datacentre based here in Christchurch.

If you purchase the hardware from noted suppliers like Dell, HP, IBM etc they can also see to all your licensing requirements, and provide tried and tested 4 hour or NBD on-site warranties.

I guess it depends on how large a buyer you are but I just have a corporate sales person who I email, get a quote back a few hours later, give them a PO number and tell them to slap it on the leased account or cash account and wait 10 days or so for the goods to start arriving on pallets or in boxes. Really quite painless.

Obviously these companies also have technical account managers if you need to get 'consultancy' in respects to what you need.

oh that's Dell btw.
