Hi There!

I have a client with a HP Laser 2300 Printer. Just in the last few days it's started putting shadows of words etc on other parts of the paper (further down same page). Looks almost like a mirror, though it's partial not complete. What would I clean to get rid of that?

Corona wire probably needs cleaning, I think it's part of the tonor+drum cartridge in the 2300.  But that said the tonor+drum cartridge is probably on it's way out, replacement time, TradeMe often has carts listed at good prices.

Printer drum problem.

Its the wiper not removing the excess toner from the drum the first time around.

Change the toner/drum. You might also want to check in the printer, usally when this happens additions toner spills out into the printer its self.

Cheers

How old is the toner cartridge?
I replaced mine recently and it fixed all my probs... other than that, a good clean!
