Do they record and make these sessions available if you can't get there?
Some of the sessions look really interesting this year.

Available through the partner portal? Do you need access to a specific thing?

Reading up on the RFID wrist band.

It'll be interesting to see the take up.

In previous years we used to have a Geekzone dinner in one of the free nights at TechEd, sponsored by Microsoft. Alas, this is no more.

That's a shame, would have been great to meet some of you in person.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

The problem with the GZ meetups was always that there was so many other things going on in the evenings during TechEd, the crowd became quite thin. ;)

PS. Matthew will be there this year representing Red Jungle, he's presenting a couple of sessions on Windows Phone on the Friday.

Yeah I'm coming up for my first TechEd, should be good! Still need to have a sit down with the session planner and resolve some conflicts

Close to booking. Just seeing if work can help me out as their allocation of tickets has reduced.

I keep checking the sessions and justify the cost!

@nathan just got an email with a bolded bit about making sure we keep ID on us at all times during TechEd now - does this mean Microsoft is no longer permitting badge sharing among team members where not all individuals can get a pass?

Work won't help me fund a ticket. That's me off the list - RATS!
Nathan any spare tickets going? :-)

I start my new job on the Monday and was wondering whether it's worth going to the keynote on Tuesday? Just thinking, new to the job, and for my first week I'm hardly there. So if I can miss the keynote it would mean I'm atleast there for 2 days of the week.

Previous keynotes I've been to at TechEd have been ok, but not something I'd give up time better spent getting to know my new role and team mates.

I'd skip the Keynote, and go to your job.
