mattwnz: My reason for still using wsftp, is that I have all the ftp details already stored in it, and you can back them up. I don't think filezilla is a good for that, and it is a pain to copy them across.

I only use one site really - Geekzone, and access via the VPN SFTP. Free is better and configuration is not a big deal because it's easy to manage a single site. If I had more then certainly that would be a deal breaker.

FileZilla then should be fine for you. I have found it does pretty much everything that wsftp can do.

Have you tried Swish (http://www.swish-sftp.org/)? It integrates into windows explorer, and it's free. Works for me...

I also use Filezilla or WinSCP.

If you want an ftp server better than IIS's Filezilla Server is good too.

For interactive sessions I use FileZilla.

However, there is one process that I want to run automatically on a schedule. To do that, I wrote a bit of VB Script that calls a Windows batch file. The batch file uses the Windows built-in FTP client. The VB Script is set up to run at scheduled times using Windows Scheduler. The VB Script also writes a text log file each time it runs, to let me know if there were any problems. All rather convoluted, but it works.
