Technet prices are nowhere near as hideous as MSDN prices, with a markup so massive that flying Air New Zealand return (~$2500 NZD) to Los Angeles and buying VS Ultimate with MSDN retail at ~$13000 USD is cheaper than buying retail in NZ ($26000 NZD)

loceff13: Technet NZ prices were pretty damn jacked up anyway, could import from amazon $300+ cheaper and ~$80 cheaper for renewals. Then you had crap like they didn't even have a working creditcard payment gateway for most of one year for NZ customers and it had to be done over the phone.

NZ$209 isn't a bad price for the renewal, it's all I've paid the last 2 years.

Funny... thats how australians buy adobe products also. They can save a few dollars by flying to LA, buying the product there at retail and then flying home.

That now Adobe products are all delivered as downloads, Australians will have to fly to LAX to have a coffee at Starbucks while downloading the software to install... And no Australian credit cards accepted online.
