I don't trust that the approved providers are always competent anyway. It all depends on the people they put on the job. Vendors can often body shop the wrong capability into a project in my experience (both as the customer and the body).
BlinkyBill: The same sort of people who established the approved providers list selected the provider for this Culture and Heritage website. That is, Public Servants.
Who probably cut the list down to a group of low-bidders!
