Invinciblegdog: The perceived value between accounting products is very interesting. To pay 99 dollars for an upgrade for a product you bought five years ago for less than 200 dollars some people consider to be a travesty. However paying $600 per annum in subscription fees for an online product is considered to be very reasonable. If you had paid that for five years you are starting to get into the thousands.
I know that Xero has a much larger range of features than cashbook but there is a price for that.

I get value out of Xero, and it's less frustrating than the other packages I've used (I also tried out Quickbooks). I spend a lot of each day fixing software bugs, I'd rather not have another things using up my frustration quota each day.
