Yip same thing in the link that I posted. You have downgrade rights until 2020. Just that you have to install the downgraded OS and the PC has to have a OEM Windows license.

chiefie: You if you have stubborn application that can't run under Windows 7, you can set its compatibility to use Windows XP compatible, else if you have Home Premium/Pro/Ultimate/Enterprise, you can run Windows XP Mode??

+1 this

Also I believe you can use xp mode to print to legacy printers without driver support for 7 too.

Its just a PC yeah... as long as I can find XP drivers for things I can just format HDD and start again with our Win XP disc. A downgrade disc would make this whole process easier and quicker thou...

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

Just to clarify, MedTech32 is supported on Windows 7 now.  Provided that the version of Medtech32 is v19 or above (current build is 19.3) and Interbase 2007 or above (2009 is now out)

I have moved my clients to the latest versions of above and Windows 7 works fine on it. There is a bit of customization in terms of UAC but no show stoppers.

Thanks for that man, yeah we are stuck on 18.0 still, hopefully will be upgrading our clients soon, once the project and testing has been done

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

lol, just got another email, they are releasing 19.4 this Friday!  Medtech sure are quick with updates!

How did you get on with the GST changes, from what I understand, it was a manual process?
