Just had a quick look.

Ability to edit/delete postings is great, but the date of the sale is still not displaying - screenshots below:

Salecator listing

Re the ability to log in independently of the "Place a Listing" flag:

I think it does need to be there. I realise 90% of of potential users will only ever post once and a further 9% will post multiple times (leaving about 1% to use it as a default listing place for secondhand sales), but should they want to edit (or even delete) their listings for whatever reason, a stand-alone login flag will make it easier for them.

I think not having a stand-alone login is likely to be confusing to users as their first thoughts in respect of this will be "I don't want to place a listing..."

Keep up the good work!!

That's is really strange.
I just had a look at your listing and the date shows fine.

Any idea?

Trying a few different browsers, it seems your site is optimised for Firefox.

IE: Doesn't display dates and shows the below graphic before loading the NZ area selector map.
Chrome: Displays dates fine. Also displays the below graphic before loading the NZ area selector map.
Firefox: Works a treat. Very fast too! Loads straight to NZ area selector map.

I don't have any other browsers loaded, so can't say how they work with your site. The majority of visitors to your site will have IE as their default (if not only) browser.

When I try and access the site in both chrome and firefox the page loads and i get the nz map popup. But the problem is whenever i click on an area i can see the page load in the background but the map wont go away?

EDIT: Just tried on a desktop PC and it works fine! seems my netbooks screen resolution was to blame. Its 1024x600.

thanks for pointing that out.

I wonder how many more people are still using IE in NZ?

Hey guys,

Only after 4 months of performing SEM, SEO, SMM, salecator.co.nz is now in 'page 2' of google when you search 'garage sales'!

what an achievement!
