BlueShift: Keynote's not til 4:00. Work hard for 1.75 days, knock off at 3:00, then go to TechEd!
See you there, I'll be the quiet one in the leather jacket.

Wise man. I shall bow to your sound logic and be there for the keynote :)

xpd: Love to go but my employer dosent see my position as needing to go to such things.... :(

So... #jealous

Shame would love to have caught up with you. Another time soon perhaps?

Yup, that was had us chuckling yesterday morning.  I guess using peoples passwords as "unique" identifiers == Bad Idea then?

So, TechEd starts today. Is there a secret Geekzone handshake or something I should know about? Wear a pink carnation in your right lapel? Team Geek badges?

Not really. Look for the guy with black polo with @freitasm on the back.

Non-official dinner 8pm tonight at The Dominion after we record the NZTechpodcast with Paul Spain,, Nate and Paul Brislen.

Well, I've made it up to Auckland and now just wasting time until closer to the keynote :)

Unfortunately I'm already set for dinner but I'm sure that I'll see some of you around!

Ok, I am in Auckland, got the Audi, checked in, got my credentials. Meeting JohnR around 5:45pm for a drink outside (he can't come in), and then to the podcast recording and dinner at 8pm - if anyone wants to join dinner just show up at The Dominion around 8pm.

Missed my flight - I was really thinking departure was 12pm for 1pm landing, but it was actually 11am for 12pm landing. Managed to get into the 2pm flight though. Doh, getting old!

So I managed to be awake enough to go to the IIS 8 session. CPU throttling will be very useful for one of our sites :)

Saw freitasm a few rows in front too :P

Why make things easier if you can complicate... 1/1000ths of percent for throttling?

Anyway, I have a couple if Windows Server dog tags (pictures in my Twitter). Find me on the hub after 11am and I will give them away.
