Looks like I am not waiting long enough - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/calendar-import-vs-subscribe
Whenever the owner of an iCal you've subscribed to makes changes to the events, Outlook.com updates your calendar. Note that this update can take more than 24 hours.

GregV: More issues with the calendar.  After subscribing last night (following the same steps as Regan's how-to - https://twitter.com/nzregs/status/636674343859154944 ) I made some changes to my schedule this morning.  There doesn't seem to be any way to force Outlook.com to refresh the subscription (and the internet is awash with plenty of reports of this).  No worries, I'll just delete the subscription, and re-add it to get the latest info into Outlook.com, and then onto my phone.  Even after deleting and re-subscribing, the original (outdated) calendar remains, and it still shows the last refresh time to be last night, even though I have only just added it.

Thanks to Regan for this fix/hack.  Force a 'refresh' by removing and re-adding the calendar, but add a random parameter on the end of the URL, so that Outlook.com sees it as a 'new' subscription.  So I subscribed to https://msignite.nz/calendar/xxxxx/ignite2015.ics?65168553928=

Ah, query strings to beat caches. Never fails - unless the cache is configured to ignored query strings...

Behodar: No luck with the calendar on my iPhone either; I click the download button and get a message saying that the address is invalid.

GregV: Force a 'refresh' by removing and re-adding the calendar, but add a random parameter on the end of the URL, so that Outlook.com sees it as a 'new' subscription.  So I subscribed to https://msignite.nz/calendar/xxxxx/ignite2015.ics?65168553928=

Thanks for posting that URL; manually changing webcals:// to https:// made it work on my iPhone.

Yeah, would be much nicer if Outlook.com handled subscriptions a whole lot nicer than it does now.  Actually it would be even better if I could have bypassed Outlook.com, and added the .ics directly onto my WP

Behodar: Interesting, as I actually pasted in webcals:// but Outlook.com changed it to https:// when I went back to the page to confirm

And here they are - your Microsoft Ignite bags!

I like the travel bag option. Fully lined canvas, your choice but first in, first served!

Will withhold final judgement till I see them hands on, but first impression is "eww yuck, where's our nice Targus gear?"

This will be my first Ignite, does everyone get one of these at registration, or how does this work?

I'm torn... I like both. Guess I'll have to get there early so I get a choice.

Everyone with a full ticket gets one.

I have had about 10 previous bags from over the years - i'm still using two as my 'overnight' and 'daily' bags, and they are in no need of replacement.  Feedback was that people wanted us to change it up a little - so that's where we are :-)

Are there samples at Registration to inspect before we have to choose? I agree with changing it up. This is my first MS event, but I've got a bunch of generic-backpacks-with-lots-of-pockets from other events.

I hope they included a rollback procedure in that change request :-P
