That's pretty cool. It's very comforting to know that the Government is sensitive to privacy issues, especially things like CCTV. Hopefully that means we wont end up like Britain - at least not for now.

I concur with this statement. Lately there's been talk of installing CCTV around here (Dunedin) by the DCC. Just makes me uncomfortable, and the evidence doesn't support it. It solves apparently around 2% of crime, whereas you could have four more officiers on the beat for that ($200,000 was the ball park figure IIRC).

Also, is there a problem with that site?
