I'm bored of waiting for Telecom to push out the ICS update for the HTC Sensation ... seems to take a long time to update some branding :-(

So can anyone recommend a 3rd party ICS ROM that will work on a Telecom XT HTC Sensation ? That doesn't look too tacky or missing features (see n a few listed with Bluetooth or Wifi not working)

Ta muchly!

I have just gotten an HTC Sensation and am running Android Revolution HD and haven't found any issues with this ROM (everything seems to work fine). I am not sure about which radio you will have to flash for the XT version but I managed to work my way through the process with no issues.

Cheers, Matt.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Yes Android Revolution HD works well with Telecom.

You will need to Root the phone, flash the new firmware, then the Radio and then the ROM.

Good Luck

+1 to that. I have a friend I helped out and now he is running that ROM on the Sensation with no problems.

If you don't like Sense I think there are other ROMS which provide the native Google experience.

Anyone know when Telecom HTC Sensations will get ICS?

My LG 3D Max arrives tomorrow and I'll be looking at rooting and flashing every other phone in the house.

I'm running Virtuous Inquisition ICS ROM.

It's a 'Senseless' ICS ROM meaning all sense components have been stripped and replaced by the AOSP alternative. Everything but the camera app has been replaced.

Have been running it on my Sensation for a couple of months now and it's rock solid.

You will need to update your firmware in order to install ICS though.
