Hi

Just a question - have the HTC Incredible S - love it.
No prob setting up wireless in NZ at home and at work.
Put an Oz Vodafone sim in it recently and whilst away, I would try free wireless, it would say it had found and was connected but I couldn't access any internet.
Came home, put my NZ Vodafone sim back in, connects fine work and home but same issue when I try to access wireless anywhere else, says it has found and connected but its not!!
Any ideas and thanks in advance.

Configured a static IP on it for at home? Gingerbread wouldnt let you do it on a per network basis and I was constantly having to go in and change it back to DHCP. ICS sorted that thankfully.

Otherwise your not on a network that you have to try browsing and then hit a portal and tick something to actually get access to it?

Hi, not sure to be honest, I am in NZ - the work and the home are wireless, it searched, asked me for a password and hooked up easy.
Elsewhere, it searches, find it, I click on it, it syas connected but then I try a webpage and it won't connect so not quite sure.
