This is my first and second attempts at a dock for my Nexus.
The first one I bent up using some alloy tread deck I had laying around. Very simple. Then I got to thinking about replacing my old bedside alarm clock with a all in one clock and dock, to free up room on my bedside cabinet. Found this Veon alarm clock at the warehouse. It was made for a iphone, but bought it, got it home, gutted it (just the iphone plug etc) and glued in a usb cable and back support board. It's not pretty but it does the job, til I come up with another brain fart.
Please be kind, I have limited tools and not a lot of spare time to do stuff like this.

Nice industrial look :) You could probably do something similar with Plastic sheet or perspex and a heat gun?
