Newbie to a Tablet - got a Nexus 7 for use when travelling in NZ and overseas.
Unit is up and running. However, lots of stuff I shall never use, at least not initially.
I wish to know what the routine is to connect the device at a wi-fi "spot". So far I have only used it at home to connect via wireless modem. But, of course the real desire and benefit will come when I use the device when out and about.
What are the step by step stages to connect the device. How is that done at the free wi-fi spots such as city library or bus/train/air terminals?
And how is the connection done at the pay wi-fi spots? What information (password/s etc) is required to connect the unit? And what needs to be done when one has finished at the "spot" - are there any special routines to disconnect from the site that was used?
And what is the routine when one takes up the option of "free wi-fi" at a cafe that requires one to buy (say) a coffee and muffin to get the free service?
Would welcome some basic advice and instructions.
Thanks in advance.
