Which is the best app to control a laptop (1080p) from my galaxy s4?

Ideally works over home wifi so I feel safe not needing to route data thru cyber space?

Edit: additional info: laptop running win 7

What app are you trying to control or do you want a mouse and keyboard on your phone that can be used to control the PC?

CPU: AMD 5900x | RAM: GSKILL Trident Z Neo RGB F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC-32-GB | MB:  Asus X570-E | GFX: EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 3080Ti| Monitor: LG 27GL850-B 2560x1440

Unified remote in the play store is what you are after.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Big fan of unified remote. It has multiple modules including app specific ones (eg Media Centre and VLC to name a couple).

Quite handy too to do basic data entry, works with the android 4.2 'swype' keyboard too.

If that fails (which I highly doubt) there are a lot of other free and paid apps on the play store.
