Has anyone ordered from valuebasket.co.nz?

There seems to be a bit of information out there but I am wondering if anyone would like to share their experiences here?

A simple forum search is a good place to start

As above. Instead of starting a new topic SEARCH first...

General advice seems to be to avoid them like the plague....

Personally, I've ordered from them and recieved goods in time and payment was fine, but they did not include a power adapter for NZ, only EU... Trying to get one out of them was difficult with the distance and language barrier so a trip to DSE fixed this problem, but it should have been included in the original package...

Is the price they offer really worth the potential problems with the order and any warranty claim down the road???

Personally if a product is not DOA then I dont ever worry about warranty...

Conclusion: they are definitely cheap and nasty but you may have an acceptable experience if you are lucky...

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

Hi all, I did do a search on the forum but there wasn't too much there and most of the posts were quite old. What are peoples thoughts on paying through paypal? would this provide adequate protection if the item did not arrive?

Don't even bother, just look at their recent pricespy reviews. I dunno what you're after but pay the extra $20-200 for a more reputable retailer

As for Paypal, what's the disputes window timeframe again? It seems one of their tactics is delaying posting it and telling the customer "yeah yeah it's coming real soon" when in reality it probably isnt

What? Just click the link I posted earlier. Most of the posts about VB are actually no older than four months now.
