Did your Nexus 5 get the 5.1 update by OTA? What was the build, LMY47D or LMD47I ?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Still no OTA available for me yet. I'm not actually aware of anybody with a Nexus 5 who's had the OTA update yet.

Ah, OK. I installed it a week or two ago but now there is another version marked as for Aus so I am curious to know the difference.

I'm tempted to maybe do a complete reinstall over the weekend after a reflash. My phone has a few very annoying issues that have crept in including image sharing to apps such as Dropbox or even email attachments - rather than using the actual filename they're all showing up as image(1), image (2) etc and I've given up trying to work out why this is happening.

5.1 has introduced an odd behaviour with Google Now for me. I now have to talk very loud and close to the mic to get Google Now to listen but once it is listening I can hold the phone at arms length and it hears me fine, strange. Nexus 10 has no such issue.

I flashed the generic version of lollipop on mine, to avoid any carrier improvements... might be the carrier setting is blocking the download till spark declare it's all good.

I haven't had it appear for mine yet.

Spark aren't stopping it, I know ajobbins had it appear this morning when he arrived in NZ and put his Spark SIM in his phone.

Just got the 5.1 update this morning (3 April - a very good Friday). Build number LMY47I. Phone was from PB Tech, on Vodafone.

While it's only been one day and I hesitate to draw conclusions without more info, battery life already seems much improved. Have been using it all day (mostly listening to an audiobook) and currently on 42%. It's usually more like 20% and due a booster charge at this time of the day on Lollipop (Kitkat was better).

Ditto for me in terms of where purchased and current provider. Got my update two days ago.
