The apps are just showing as content hidden on the lock screen below the working controls from the IR remote app.

Samsungs stock player shows ok, which is great if I want to listen to their one song on the phone, but rdio, xbox music, QQ music are just showing content hidden. google play music shows, but I dont want that.

The suggestion of turning to show all notifications on the lock screen is absurd as that would make SMS's and other sensitive stuff show.

So any way to get them back or should I just go back to using my note 3 still on kitkat where they all work?

most apps updated to L would have lock screen notifications shade working for controls? I listen to spotify thanks to spark and rdio no issue?

Unfortunatly I dont spotify anymore since I only had it when it was free when I was with spark, and now I am not, its not worth paying for yet another music service.

Seems absurd that there is no way to designate each app as being private or not. Its bad enough that it seems to sometimes show SMS's on the top briefly when locked.

Rdio works fine for me. I suggest you go into settings and play around with the various functions under sound and notifications. You can choose what to block or allow through. Very simple once you dig down into it.
