Kind of specialist, but I'm wondering if there are any exponents off the Ninja art of Tasker for Android here on GZ.
In brief what I am trying to do trigger airplane mode on an unrooted Samsung S8. The recently released Samsung App Good Lock 2018 allows Airplane Mode to be triggered by the opening of an app, and then toggled again when the app is closed. Airplane mode normally requires root but not with this Samsung App.
So what I'm trying to do is build an app using Tasker App Factory that opens and sits in the background and does nothing until closed. I have tried using the 'Flash' and 'Notify' actions but the app built from this does not persist.
Anybody have any clues how to achieve a 'dummy app' ?
As a last resort I will just choose a random app from the app drawer and use that, but I'm looking for a slightly more elegant, non-root, solution.
