I registered with modumobile.com to find out a bit more about the modu T phone. I got answered by a kiwi company who are a modu dealer and they referred me to their website. Nobody could tell me much about the T phone but it was for sale from their website. It was delivered yesterday so I put a 2degrees sim in it and wamo no problems at all.

Like all phones the user manual is pretty crap but I love the phone. It is so small and pretty cool, won't appeal to the iPhone lovers but I like having something a little bit different. I also saw on other tech blogs the official release is today lol. I guess that makes me first in NZ to have one

Moved to the Android forum, seeing the T Phone is Android-based.

Are you sure this is the T Phone? This will be announced tomorrow in Israel. Could it be the Modu only?

Exactly how could I get that wrong? Yes it is the T phone I know it says 10 October so the company I bought it from might of jumped the gun I guess.

There are other Modu models, and seeing they had not yet released the T Phone I was just asking for confirmation that you were not mistaken. That's all.

Yea I see what you mean. I actually preordered it not expecting to get it so soon I have not even paid for it yet - they sent the phone but not the bill.

Ok, time for real questions then...

What version of Android is it running?
How much memory?
Can you upload a picture here and post?
You are using it on 2degrees, but what 3G bands does it support?
How much does it cost in New Zealand?

I tried to decipher the manual which is not in english. It is not android as far as I can tell ( not that I would know much even if it was) but the word is not in the manual. 2GB memory plus a card slot and 3.5G, no idea what networks it can connect to but works on 2degress. - price $299 if I ever get the bill. I contacted the company I got it from about more specs they don't have any and were surprised that it had been sent. I can connect to internet, face book, youtube, has a music player and fm radio. I aint a techspert sorry, try modu mobile for that but their website is strange and tells you nothing.

You've been asked who you ordered it from and have so far ignored that question.  All.....very......vague. If you're the vendor, you already look dodgy.

I can understand maybe someone thinking you're just talking the phone up....in advance of a launch. Why did you order the phone when you don't even know what it does or what networks it works on?

Can you post a photo of the phone you have in your hand? Preferably with today's newspaper also in it.

So we know you're not just trolling. :-)  (This is suddenly very 4chan...).

I read about the launch yesterday. The modu T phone *is no Android*... It's BREW.

The Android version is not launched yet, it will be modu W.

I saw some promo for the Modu phone a while back....it looked pretty cool. But I'll be happier when the OP makes clear how and where s/he ordered the phone s/he claims to have in hand.
