Am currently running Oxygen's Gingerbread [2.0-RC7] but find it a bit on the boring side visually.
I know it is early days but has anyone found an alternative release with a good set of icons etc?

I do like the it on the whole, it is very quick and I have more space [gone from 4% free to 50%]
Helped by being able to move apps like Facebook for Android etc to SD card. Great at first but now it looks like I need these to stay on the phone memory as rebooting seems to remove these from my list of accounts to auto-sync.
FB both turns off its sync-contacts option in the settings, sometimes spontaneously it seems. Certainly does after reboot.
This results in pictures of contacts with FB accounts disappearing, duplicate listings for contacts, one phone and email and one facebook and tweets not updating.

The other issue I am having is I can find no widget to toggle mobile data [that works] i have one on the default power bar abut it get over ridden and I still connect to 3G if an app requires it.

So I have to go into settings and disable data every time to shut it off completely.

The one in the notification tray works perfectly for me, cant remember if its enabled by default. I like the torch in the notification tray too.

Only just noticed that this was an interactive menu but mine is working back to front.  On the basis that all the icons shown in black with the bright green underline are "on" [wifi GPS volume etc] Mobile data is active only when it is greyed out.  When it is in bold black with the green underline it doesn't connect.

Strange.
I prefer to have a 4 panel widget bar on my homescreen as I did in CM6 so I can toggle it with a single press rather than sliding down the notification bar then pressing.
The widget is on my homescreen it just doesn't work for mobile data on my Desire.
