Hi, this seemed like the best place to ask so thought I'd quickly sign up and see if someone could help me out. I've been looking around for a HTC Android I could use on the XT network and found myself surprisingly limited in my options. I found this http://www.mobicity.co.nz/htc-wildfire-nextg.html that they report works on XT. Does anyone have experience with it on XT and buying from these guys?

Just looking for a bit of reassurance, thanks in advance.

Hi,
The HTC Wildfire is compatible with XT. No experience with the Wildfire but I bought a HTC Aria which is XT compatible and is a nice phone from Mobicity. Have also bought another phone from Mobicity and had no issues with them at all. I would buy again from them.

Er, only the Telstra NextG will work on XT. THe "normal" wildfires won't work on XT

Ahh yes, I realized that, the link is to the 3G 850/2100 MHz model,.

I imported one for my mum from uniquemobiles.com.au
Very happy with the fast delivery and the price was better than mobicity too.

The phone is unlocked, so the seal on the box is broken, but condition is immaculate. There is still all the Telstra branding and although I've rooted it and flashed a custom rom, the Telstra splash screen cannot be removed without a very expensive tool.

Its a good little phone and feels well built but be warned, the resolution is very low.
