I have gotta get up to speed with Android HoneyComb. Buried in iPad and iPhone4 for too long  my cheapest option was to sneak an NC off B&N (they can only sell into Canada/USA due to Copyright Laws and what Publishers allow them to do).

Anyway, a USD$249 machine = perfect cheap 7.5" screen learning tool.

Go on a shopping spree weekend 'holiday' to the USA, or have one posted to someone over there to ship it to you. Note you will pay a few bucks local taxes though (i just thought it was ok as it probably bought a school classroom chair).

B&N won't allow freight forwarders anymore. Once you have it also need to Register it online before you can do much so that means a spoofed VPN IP address so you can then  set your account up on B&N's site so you appear to be Stateside. There are tons of instructions detailing all this, just Google but you will absorb time. This all sounds like we're circumventing laws but it's really the one on what Publishing Houses have requested B&N to comply to over Copyright on certain books. Like me since you aren't going to buy books from B&N (you won't be able to unless you have a USA appearing IP address and snailmail address plus creditcard home address) for it then it shouldn't matter. Once it becomes an Android HoneyComb device then the issue of book copyright is circumvented.

Lots of ducks to put in a row.

Be aware of the WiFi needs if your Access Point is an old box. You must use WAP-PSK2 Data-rate 54Mb/s, Gmode. The NC is WiFi only with a Micro SD slot. Once you have it working B&N will probably dump an update Ver 1.2 which freaked my WiFi router with a call for IP endlessly looping. I had to do a cold start reboot and Reregister again!

Your friends in all this, appbrain, android tablets.net, xda developers, inspiredgeek.com

It's a great little box for the price.
