My friend brought this phone only a couple of months ago, and today he tells me the screen cracked in his pocket some how. He hasn't done anything out of the usual he said. The screen is entirely white except of the actual cracks.

Could we get this done under a warrenty repair, say its not fit for purpose? Which is pretty far fetched but just as an option. If not, where could we get this fixed? Or does PB do it themselves?

Not fit for purpose? Oh, you mean because it just spontaneously broke while he carried it in his pocket? Right...

As per the previous post, you are most unlikely to convince anyone it's a warranty repair. However if the repair is costly enough maybe contents insurance could help?

Google for similar problems. If there is some design fault then others may have reported this too which could help your case.

While it is possible for a glass flaw to cause a crack, I'd say it is very unusual and also difficult to prove.

Just claim the insurance and be done.
