So, as per the subject, wondering what people need to know about how these handsets compare?

Battery life doing the same tasks.

Screen comparison in sunlight.

GPS lock times.

Reception signal strength (using -dB not just bars) and any 'death grip issues'.

Audio performance using the same headset.

I'm sure other questions will come to mind. Not so much interested in TouchWiz vs SenseUI 3.0 unless there is a real killer feature that one has that the other doesn't.

But this comparison (SGS2 vs Sensation) seems to be the one of the moment, there are quite a few on youtube but most are pretty subjective. Some more objective comparisons would be great.

Edit: Corrected typo

High quality movie watching experience comparison
Still and moving camera results comparison (uploads for that would be excellent)

I'm just keen to see your thoughts on the Sensation - I see that Telecom have just announced it  :)

Death grip issue with reception and wifi.

And +1 for screen visibility outdoors. Thanks.

I saw in your S2 review that there were compatibility issues with games. Why is this and is it a problem with the sensation?

And probably a hard thing to answer but, which phone do you think will have better community support in terms of custom roms?

The game compatibility problems are only with Tegra-only games, these will also be a problem for the Sensation. It will be worse for the Sensation though since Rooting will be more difficult with its locked bootloader, so it won't have such ready access to Chainfire 3D (which lets you play most of the Tegra-only games on the SGSII - including the brilliant Galaxy on Fire 2 which came out today and works perfect on my SGSII).

If HTC make good on their word and unlock the bootloader I expect that the Sensation will probably have an edge for custom ROMS, but as things stand at the moment the SGSII is infinitely better because of its open bootloader.
