Thought I might as well kick this one off, hopefully I won't be alone in this club for too long!

First of all, here are my early thoughts from the other thread:

Early impressions:

- This is how Android Tablets should have been from the beginning, finally Honeycomb performance is as smooth as it should be (and should be getting the update to ICS very soon)
- Design/build quality/build materials: Drop dead gorgeous. The most beautififul tablet on the market right now
- Original Transformer USB adapter works in the Prime (got one yesterday from PB Tech, who have quite a few in stock for interested people), USB stuff seems to be working fine (used a Logitech combined USB wireless keyboard/mouse combo with it and all working well, did that whilst connected via micro HDMI to the TV and RDP to the laptop via Splashtop HD - awesome!)
- Finally Android tablets can play video perfectly, no longer will me phone play video better than my tablet!

...and here is some of the video stuff I've shot in the last few days:

Unboxing, hardware tour, brief UI demo

Video playback shootout:

Connectivity demo (accomanying blog piece http://www.androidnz.net/2012/01/asus-transformer-prime-video-playback.html):

ICS demo and information re: Root and ICS

(Navigation for the connectivity demo: bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the browser @ 1:00, USB adapter with wireless USB keyboard and mouse combo @ 2:55, N64oid with high res textures and the Logitech USB Games Controller @ 6:48, Shadowgun THD optimised for Tegra 3 with a PS3 Controller @ 9:07, 1080p MKV playback from a 500GB portable HDD with Dice Player to the HDTV @ 13:11)

Video demo upped for ICS and the Prime.

Anyone else with a Prime needs to be aware they should Root prior to applying the update and use OTA Rootkeeper (free in the Market) to restore Root post-update.

I saw somewhere that ASUS is releasing a new model and changed the Prime's casing material. Apparently the current/previous casing stuffed up the GPS reception pretty badly. Have you noticed this?

Have yet to try GPS, not really a feature I use with tablets - will definitely check it out now I'm on ICS.

How big was the update?

Dingbatt: How big was the update?

Not sure, took a couple of minutes to download on our ~1.4MB/s home connection.
