alexchung5111: im still waiting for the white gs3 form whs
does anyone is the same as meCry

Glad I got company, for few hours I thought I was the only one left waiting for it....lol....
WHS Manukau says it has been delayed until mid june (for white ones as well) and WHS CBD say definitely tomorrow morning...so don't know wether to wait or go to JB hifi in city...JB has around 5 in stock this very second.

I'm in the same situation.

When I called them they said I'll be getting it this afternoon as I live in Auckland City.

But I'm not sure if they will come today by 5 or 6 pm. and I got a reply from WHS customer service representative that I'll be getting it next week probably on tues.

It's so ridiculous. They said it'll take only 1 business day to get it but they are not sure if it will be arrived my house by today.

sucks!

I flagged WHS Akld CBD at lunchtime, went it and cancelled, walked up to JB and paid $944. Thank you very much.

Just went into the closest Noel Leeming and paid for one from another store for $840, picking it up after work, cannot wait to be out from the confines of my defective LG. The white looks a lot nicer in person than I expected.

bignicko: another -1 to WHS!

Got refund from WHS on my 16GB blue pre-order, went to Noel Leeming Moorhouse Ave in Christchurch. They had to double check on discount, but I also now have a receipt for a Blue 16GB SGS3 purchase price after 20% discount $839.20 plus 33 flybuys.

Now the waiting starts again.

How long do you have to wait for?

No idea now - will just take it as it comes as have decided firmly I'd rather have blue instead of white. Guy at Noel Leeming was really helpful, but seemed to be a hive of random numbers - 9 million units were recalled and they're only making 3 million a month, so could be 3 months until they get stock in - think I'll go by the previous numbers thrown around in posts here rather than his numbers :)

BTW didn't ask about stock of whites there in case anyone was wondering. They didn't have a display model.

Why the recall?

Happens when you first start up, runs a Touchwiz tutorial

Either go into Apps, then run through the Tutorial

Or hit the menu/power button a few times!

Really frustrated me until I realised it was just that, thought i had a faulty panel for about 5 min

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

he jumbled it up, there were 9 million pre orders total, they had enough stock to cover the orders, until the delamination issues with the blue underneath the top couple of layers of casing became apparent, they recalled allthe blue ones, the factories ARE pumping out that amount, there are a tonne of white due stem the demand within the next two weeks, blue will come closer to end part of june apparentley.
