binarybrother: I'm still waiting for mine from NL. Ordered last week and still not here! Is this just a NL problem or does HTC still have major supply issues?
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

HiTM4N: So where is the best place to buy an HTC one for sub-$1000?

Noel Leeming at $899. Or can be negotiated even lower from all accounts.

bigqueez:bmt: Yep, went in to NL on Monday to buy one, none in stock at any store other than the display models. Guy reckoned getting some on Friday. Got a call the next day, looking at up to two and a half weeks. Interestingly their website still states 3-4 days lead time.
Suppose when you're only paying $800 you can wait a little.. 2.5 weeks though, that's pushing it..
I turned up at Tory St at 9.10am on the Friday (first day of sale) to purchase the phone, thinking that would guarantee they had stock. Tory St didn't have any stock, but I was told they could transfer one from another store that had plenty of stock at the time, and that it would definitely be with me on Monday. Mysteriously, that stock vanished over the weekend, and the phone is now on back-order. I got the same story as BMT about time frames, and I had to call several times to find this out. Poor form NL.
But yes, at that price, you can put up with some level of poor service.
