I have a factory S-off model from Telecom.

There's no RUU for 4.2 yet that I'm aware of, the one I used is the leaked European 2.17.401.1 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752

How on earth did you manage to get that?

How are you finding 4.2.2 compared with 4.1.2 on the HTC One?

Overall it's much better, everything feels a little faster. But battery life is not quite as good.

Consensus seems to be the leaked kernel is less than awesome but most likely that will be sorted when it is officially released.

When that happens I'll just flash the dev edition RUU.

My experience is less than 12 hours but so far i've found the battery life on the One fairly average. Do you know of a way to see screen on time on the device?

You'll need a battery stats app to see that. HTC completely revamped the power app, it's good but for some reason it shows everything but screen usage.

Anyone have any experience with getting a replacement if they have a gap issue? Mine has got one and even a small dent close to the usb port but unsure whether the hassle of getting it replaced out weighs the benefits? It doesn't interfere with my phone in any way. Btw, i bought mine from warehouse stationary. Thanks!

Are you hitting the wee red button on the track selector/answer call on the right hand ear bud? i found it rung the last number when I hit it accidently whilst not having music playing

Are you using 3rd party earphones? I have found with my HTC phones in the past that if the plug moves around in the socket, it must short across the contacts and decide you want to dial someone. Haven't experienced it with my One (yet) though.

I solved it by making sure the plug was seated properly in the socket. Some covers prevent the plug from seating properly.

Has anyone set up contacts/ groups?
My people list displays ok, but regardless of settings the group list is always thumbnails
& always displays contacts with their first names alphabetically ie Alan z , Adam w etc.
I can not find how to change this , or to list view.

Yeah that was my thought at first. I definitely wasn't touching the button, but thought the button might have been stuck or something so tried other headphones and it still did it. Come to think of it though, it may have only been once with the other headphones, instead of 10 times in about 10 seconds so I might give this a go again.

Not a cover issue, it first happened when I tested it half an hour after getting the phone. Didn't get a cover until weeks later.

Will do some more testing and see what I can find. Thanks for the replies.

Why is it that when I first started using my camera it was rubbish? Noisy, dull colors. Now after a week or so, it's bloody brilliant. Clear, crisp, no noise at all?

Epic battery life. 2 days and 18 hours without charge. Basically charged it on Friday afternoon and didn't need to recharge all weekend.
