IntegerIsNumber: So the big question is: When will we get our pre-ordered phone from Samsung in 16/32GB?
I really hope that we get it sometimes this week though.

just called them (Noelleeming) and was told it may take 8-10 working days! it may take longer for S3. sounded to me its a general response not an informed one.

btw mine ordeded on saturday (16GB white) in hamilton.

Mine is also ordered on Saturday for 32GB blue in Hamilton. We're pretty much a puddling of sitting ducks at the moment. I really hope that we're at least knowing a solid ETA from Samsung but I guess we're not going to get the second batch of devices before the UK/EU until they got theirs first.

You called? Cool

Oh sorry sir didn't mean to call you lol.

Anyway what will the the chance of us NZs not getting any 32GB devices? Samsung did the same with the S2 and after waited for 1 year, I still have yet to find a 32GB Galaxy S2 lol.
Is Samsung playing the Jedi mind trick with us again this time? No one know for sure lol.

The box does say 'Color Pebble Blue' not 'Color Metallic Blue' doesn't it? would have thought they would have changed the label on the box if it's the new case.

Looks basically the same as the old Pebble Blue, if there is in fact any difference whatsoever (based on actually having seen the old Pebble Blue in the flesh).

I realise the blue is basically the same (if not the same), but the brushed effect is gone which made it look cheap IMO.

networkn: LOL, nzv: not fair to talk about stuff like that :)

well anyone can walk in off the street and pay outright $839 or there abouts for it, as of today at noelleeming from my understanding

Yes I also went into Noel Leeming yesterday and paid the $839 for the Galaxy S3, and now wait for the Pebble Blue phone to arrive possibly mid June but may be longer than that.  I had originally ordered one from Warehouse Stationery in CHC, but that was soon cancelled once I found out about the deal at Noel Leeming.  $1049 sounds like the average price once the special deals have finished.

You sir a very cleaver buyer :)
NL probably got plenty of order during the Queen's birthday sell. More than they expecting I guess :)

I really hope that NL will take number of buyers this weekend and make a direct order with Samsung to fulfilled their pre-orders very soon. :) Can't wait for my blue one. Oh it is a beauty.

WHS say that they have got in contact with Samsung and are currently waiting for a ticket/bag for them to send it back for inspection and get back credit for it. However they say that are trying to get me a replacement which I hope will happen.

Just got off the phone with Noel Leemings and asked them their cost price for an S3. He told me cost+10% was $1037 so everyone who got the 20% or more off retail have done very well! I missed the deal myself but I have a voucher from Vodafone (Thanks Retentions!) to get one once I can find a store with stock. Might even wait for the 32GB.
