i was told that NL were allocated 176 white units nationwide.. and my brother said that they were no way prepared for the interest in the phone. auckland, wellington chch got most of them, here in new plymouth for instance, only 4 phones were allocated to that store..

So any news on the next batch from your brother? Blue and 32GB? :D Please be our spy :)

all he is told is "mid june" it appears that this problem was known about some time ago, i asked my brother what "mid june" meant, and he said anything up to the 21st.. i was also told that for NL, the pre orders done on the weekend are the next order AFTER the pre orders done that previous week, so i may get mine in a few days, not sure on the rest..

I'll bet $5 Blue doesn't get here until the END of June at the earliest.

If the phone is THIS colour, I'll be exceptionally happy.

If it's THIS Colour, I won't be too happy at all.

i would be surprised if it dropped before then also. As would my brother, silly thing is, I can ring up NL's 0800 number, a number of times throughout the day, get a number of different helpful people, and get not one similar story, hell, i rang up on the 30th and was told "Great news! very exiting, they are heading out to the stores so you will be able to pick it up tomorrow' MMMMhmmmm i thought..

Question about battery life, I do realise that the battery should get better with each charge/recharge cycle. This is my second charge/recharge cycle. I am getting a high 40% cell standby usage. Has anyone else experienced this? I bought the phone from WHS and on 2Degrees.

Damn, waiting to check out the blue version and the white one gets sold at those prices?!
Oh well.. I'm sure the prices will be just as sharp once the blue's land in a few weeks so I can compare then decide which one to go with
Hoping $797 for 16Gb and $920ish for the 32Gb are still obtainable

Same here, idled most of the day and had 75%~ cell standby. One guy on XDA said he flashed a new radio and it cut the percentage in 3

@own3d
Good luck with that but I really doubt it

My friend pre ordered one about two weeks ago and could get the 32GB so he switched to 16GB one instead from NL. He got the S3 the same day as it is released. So I don't think the order last weekend and the week before is getting different treatment. Well I hope the 32GB version isn't a myth like it was with the Galaxy S2 though.

I was waited for months for the 32GB Galaxy S2 and then gave up on it because it was only a mythical creature that Samsung promised to release but never released.

What is your bet on the 32GB Galaxy S3? Is it a myth or is it real? No one have ever seen the 32GB version to confirmed of its existance. Anyone would like to take a bet on this? Lol

32GB S2 was released, just not in NZ, only in selected countries/markets.

Good on Samsung for making the 32GB S3 available in NZ as well.
