Also I have not installed the custom HP Bluetooth drivers, keeping to stock as far as possible, but obviously the stock Windows Bluetooth does a bad job. Might install the other Bluetooth software later.

At the moment AirDroid is doing what I need though.

I haven't used Bluetooth on my pc in a long time but the Microsoft divers always sucked, I wouldn't expect much to have changed in that area.

Hmmmm, I didn't install anything extra to get the bluetooth to work, I had a very good experience with the bluetooth option, which did surprise me to some extent.  I do have a bluetooth Logitech keyboard and mouse perhaps the use of these has updated/changed the bluetooth drivers.

I think the HTC One is getting an update rolling out for Android 4.2.2.  Anyone else exited and any guesses on when it will reach NewZealand :)

The update has already been pushed out to a lot of devices. Anyone with the international unbranded editions has it now.

It is currently being tested by both Telecom and Vodafone so still a few weeks before devices sourced through them will see it I'd say.

Telecom, Vodafone and a couple of Aussie carriers all use the same software so I'm guessing it will require them all to approve it before HTC push it out.

Hey guys, I have a problem with my htc one so I was going to send it for repairs.

Only problem is I have it unlocked and with a custom rom.

I used the nandroid backup from here

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39588860

to get to the correct rom and am trying to get to stock recovery. but when i try to flash the recoveries from here

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2158763

they don't work. they just reboot the phone.

Anyone have any ideas why?

or does anyone have their stock recoveries that i could try flashing?

Please help

Try the stock recovery from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752

Once you've confirmed you have stock ROM, Kernel and Recovery, use Revone to lock the bootloader to its factory state.

Follow the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582 but at step 4 use ./revone -l instead of -P. Don't continue past that step.

awesome that recovery worked. Thanks

about the relocking. I didn't get S-OFF. Do you think i should get s-off first to i can get the bootloader to be locked or just go with having the bootloader to be relocked?

Want to try something different and you want themes and full customization?   Try MIUI v5 4.2.2 AdyScorpiusMIUI v5 3.7.12 R16 im loving all the extra options.   Please note the camera installed is the one from the GE ROM.   http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352742

The rom is very fluid and with the themes gives you a whole new look.

Not through official sources. Several of the parallel importers were selling them.

Does anyone have one of the double dip cases: http://www.htc.com/www/accessories/htc-double-dip/
I think the grey and black one is quite attractive, unsure if its available for sale here.
