My 6.1 plus is still languishing on 9 (Nov 19 update).
It was reported in this thread in Reddit that Spark is still testing Android 10 before release in New Zealand. It does seem to be glacially slow, when the rest of the world have charged ahead.
I myself sideloaded pretty much straight away once the OTA was available, and have since added the January security patch.
You can visit XDA Developers, where all the OTA files are available, plus instructions.
sekhment: Thank you.
If it is spark holding back the update they are running my Android one experience.
Having a carrier hold back security updates is silly.
This annoys me enough that will probably switch to iPhone next phone updated time.

How exactly are they ruining it?
Do you know of anyone who has been compromised through not having the latest security patch? I don't. When they roll out I get them installed. If you're really worried about security it surprises me you'd even consider side loading.
In my experience OS updates are generally small tweaks here and there with virtually no obvious/visible difference to the end user.

Neither do I. But then again, I don't manage 100's of phones nor do I have 1000's of phones calling home to me like the hardware supplier has. We will never know the cost of not having this patch applied. To put it another way, a statistic of 1 is merely a data point.
We should hold suppliers to account for supplying timely security patches.

Looking at the above XDA Developers link, Nov-2019 is the last update before Android 10. An OS upgrade requires a lot more testing than just applying security fixes. I'd be willing to give them some more time.

I have a local stock N7+. This Android One programme is supposed to give us steady OS upgrade. In reality it is just like the same old Android OS upgrade problem: slow and irregular. iOS upgrade in comparison is fast and steady.

NikT: Just as a point of reference, iOS updates go through operator testing as well. It is a myth that they do not.
The difference is Apple likely says "Approve by this date or else you don't have the next device in your lineup."
And the telcos dance as required. For the others? Yeah, not so much.

Ditto (once I did the manual check). I wonder if it was triggered by Spark approval, or 2Degrees doing their own approval.
