It's pretty good. The charge from yesterday is still going strong even though I used the GPS / Navigation for  an hour today. Well I've also installed SetCPU and chose the new interactive governor and that seems to have a cumulative positive effect. I haven't yet created any profiles in SetCPU so I presume if I did I could save more power (for eg, setting it to underclock when the screen is locked).

I just noticed HTC sync 3 is now available for many devices, rather than just the Wildfire.

Hey guys, played with an HTC Desire in-store today here in Aussie. I wanted to test whether it could upload files from the phone storage drive to the web. The upload button was greyed out and it read, "Unload disabled".

Does this mean it is possible to browse for files and it was just the phone settings stopping it from doing so?

Thanks in advance guys!

Umm...not sure what's happened to that one. I am able to upload files to my server at home. Having said that I do have a slight problem selecting files. When I try to select files I was presented only with Gallery, Music, and other apps that limit my file selection to certain file types.

Anyone else experienced this?

OK sounds like that phone (Telstra one) had the setting disabled?!?!  Still, would like to know whether I can pick and choose what files to upload (Office files to picture files etc).  This would be a huge bonus for me! This is also why I am heading away from the iPhone.

Just solved my problem by installing Blackmoon File Browser. Not sure if that's the best file browser out there - there are a few listed on the market. So yeah, I was able to pick any file from the SD card to upload.

Definately good, it's lasting for more than a day with moderate GPS usage, music and downloads. Note that
1) I've installed SetCPU and selected the new 'Interactive' governor
2) Installed the new radio which came out last week (32.44.00.32u_5.09.05.30_2)
3) I'm using 2G instead of 3G
4) I turn off auto-sync whenever I'm not actively using the phone.

I've also turned off live wallpapers so all in all the battery life is excellent!

Maybe you could start moving the apps that allow you to move them over to your SD card and free up some of that precious memory/space? :)

Thanks for that radio update!

Also, LeeDrOiD v2.0a is out, featuring 720p lag fixes, bloat removal and more tweaks!

A new thread was created for this as the old one got too big (over 1100 pages!) but my joy was short-lived - the thread was already over 70 pages long when I first found it :/
