A lot of my camera features are missing with the latest update (using HTC camera)

Anyone else have that same issue?

Couldn't be bothered waiting for OTA so have just finished installing and setting up Lollipop on my M7. I'm running stock GPe version and it's lovely :D

My HTC One stopped working for phone calls, the calls would connect but there was no audio either way. I flashed back to stock using Guru Reset but after the OTA update it got stuck in a boot loop so I tried to factory reset and now it won't boot at all :/ I think its still covered under 2 year warranty so going to try getting it repaired.

My one also stopped being able to make phone calls... The internet said it was a Google play services update that did it. Clearing it's cache and data then restarting sorted it for now...

Did yours connect and just have no audio or would it not connect to calls?

btw I found the thread on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/help/sound-speeh-calls-t2964128

Mine connected, but there was no audio so no ringtone, and the Mic didn't work. I knew it was software because Skype and viber worked as usual and I use them quite a bit. So it was always going to be a case of tracking down the culprit in recent updates... Xda helped that!

An update is available now for audio issues during voice calls:

Also HTC says Android 5.0 should be available from early january for this model - of course depending on telcos :(

2 weeks ago I dropped my HTC One S and the screen cracked. I brought it to a shop to get fixed (they replaced the whole screen) but now the sound is completely broken :(

The guy in the shop has tried another screen and it also doesn't work. So now he's saying it must have been broken before as there's no other explanation. I'm 100% sure the sound was working when I brought it in. Does anyone else have any experience of this or possibly know what the problem could be? I'd really appreciate some advice!

Installed this update. Had problems last week with in call audio so this will hopefully resolve it. Is your One still running like a dog, Mauricio? Mine isn't encrypted but is really starting to bog down at the moment. Perhaps it's just got to much loaded on it and needs a reset. Otherwise I feel a 2015 upgrade coming on :-)

Is this upgrade M7-specific? My M7 has no SIM card but I was able to download and install this upgrade using wifi. I also notice that the M7 is running Android 4.4.3/S/W No 6.11.980.10 while my M8 is on 4.4.4, S/W No 3.32.710.9

I have reset it to remove encryption and it's running a lot better now. The only problem I noticed (after having used a Lumia for a month) is that voice calls had... no voice. This update appeared just when I noticed the problem, probably introduced by the update just before that.

Yes, this is for the M7 only and it's not a full OS update. I wouldn't worry about not having 4.4.4 as 5.0 should be just around the corner.

Pretty happy with the HTC One M7 - it had pretty good updates over the last year and if it gets 5.0, even if it's the last one, it will be a good run.

^^^ I have to agree, the M7 is still a very capable phone

I had the misfortune of cracking the glass recently which gave me the opportunity to convert from Silver to Black housing so i now have a black M7 that looks and feels like brand new running stock google 5.0.1, i couldn't be happier :D

One minor gripe though, on GPe 5.0.1 the capacitive buttons do not light up so using at night time is a bit of a touchy feely scenario, hoping it gets fixed next OS update

Merry Christmas eve everyone.
I seem to be getting an OTA software update to 6.111.980.12 (183.47MB) at the moment. I think it said it was about to voice/sound issue again. So anyone still having troubles even after the last patch, you might want to try this one perhaps.

Voice problems seemed to have stopped but installed .12 over .10 anyway. One is still running like cold treacle at the moment so I feel a factory reset coming on.
