What would be handy is a comparison of all the ROMS, pro's con's etc. I will google to see if anyone has done so.

Just reading a thread on XDA abouth the Sammy JB release, not for the new or feint hearted, may flash it to have a quick look but certainly won't be my daily.

@ damager have been looking at remix as it looks pretty good so may flash that in weekend as well.

Just flashed Resurrection Remix 3.0.4 on my device. Going well so far like the stock Jelly bean look and the customization, no problems so far

As per comments in owners thread, i have installed Wanams JB Rom over ICS. It is a no wipe, deodexed, CF Rooted "stock" Rom

JB is a good improvement over ICS, feels nicer, smoother, snappier but not hugely so, more of a +1 improvement rather than a +5

I would highly recommend trying it, you will not be disappointed, I have had no FC's or issues, it is definitely a daily driver that's for sure

Note: I was running XXBLH1 Rom, BTU CSC, and had no problems dropping JB over top of it with no wipe, There seems to be differing success with people installing without wipe on other base Roms

Thought LH1 was JB, bit confused really as some are not doing full wipe but was always told to do that when coming from new base or differant rom.

I'm trying resurrection remix which is AOKP/CM10, its going fine but want to go to Samsung JB rom to see the difference. I see a few around now with Checkrom releasing his but will just go to lurk mode in XDA to see the issues

Been using Resurrection Remix 3.04 all weekend and really enjoying it. Fast, fluid and stable so far. This being my first android phone (iPhones since 2G) its a great change.

The customization is amazing - and JB finally has semi-cohesive UI design.

One thing iv noticed is that I cannot get WIFI to sleep when screen is of (I have set to under WIFI settings)

Just means if I don't manually turn off WIFI and SYNC my overnight battery usage is 30% rather than the current 2% (with sync/wifi off)

need to turn of syns as well as wifi is only half the issue as it will still show wakelocks as it trys to connect. Do you have BetterBatterystats, great app if you want to find battery leaks, costs about $4 .

Been on remix all weekend as well but haven't really noticed any differance in anything really.

Don't understand what you mean by semi cohesive but we must remember that ICS for Galaxy is still under development from devs as is far and away from the current GB of S2 but maybe I have you wrong in this.

Hey you modding guys, do you think you could update your signatures to include what ROMs you have tried and why you stopped using.. like a history of your modding, include custom kernels too if you've changed that aswell as the ROM (maybe include what network you are using too)
So us guys who are about to mod, know what's tried and failed, or tried and proven.
We also know who to talk to for specific questions =)
