Great deals. I bought the Office suite yesterday and Autodesk sketch today. Never would have bought them otherwise.

I recommend the Granny Smith game if it comes back. Avoid the pottery game at all costs.

I only play puzzle games on android and the occasional 2d left to right scrolling game, anything more I'd rather play on my PC.

I recommend people check out trainyard express.  It's free.  first 10-15 levels are very easy, last levels are very tricky.

I am actually enjoying Amazing Alex. There is a bit of thought involved. Not as cool as Bad Piggies though with the weird inventions you can make.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Bought mSecure cause it was 0.25¢ ($12.99 normally) and then purchased the Windows application with the GOOGLEPLAYSTORE discount for ~$12.99

It can be sync'd with Dropbox and thus Android and Windows can be updated and retain the same data.

Although it's no longer supported/updated I've used Pocket in the past and if you compare that with mSecure you realise how good Pocket was/is and it's free.

If you missed out on mSecure and would like something as good, Pocket can be downloaded for free : Google Play Store Pocket and then the Windows Pocket application can be downloaded from the web, also for free.

I even purchased the Google Play Store Pocket PRO Key as the app is that good and I wanted to say thankyou to the developer.

Bought SketchBook Mobile too. I fancy myself as a bit of an artist. ;-)

It's odd that Office Suite keeps on turning up in these grab bags and none of the others like Quickoffice Pro or  Documents ToGo Office document apps do. What does that say about Office Suite.
I'm just grumbling as a got Office Suite at 0.99¢ ages ago and now want the others to add to my collection. :-)

Amazing Alex.....yaaawww!!!!!  Mind bending stuff.

I just bought TuneIn Radio Pro.

Majority of the free apps are good enough to do the job.

Ha ha how many started the download and then noted just that?

The download will depend on the write speed to your SDcard and not your WiFi speed.

[Smug 32GB Class10 SDcard smile]

Half the game is just downloading and installing it?

Sadly for me and my XPERIA X10i 1.190Ghz CPU Adreno 200 GPU the graphics is full of artefacts and VERY slow, so guessing one'll need at least a dual-core processor and a good HW accelerated GPU to pull it off.

Maybe of some note.

As many of these apps may not be seen at these prices again for some time, one doesn't really want to miss out on that special something just because your phone isn't up to scratch and can't download it.

It'd be nice to have some way to collect the apps for future use if an upgraded phone is in the works in the not to distant future.

I have found, by downloading Android x86 v4.0.4 on my Windows PC and then running it within VirtualBox and configuring Google Play Store it appears to accept most apps that are not available for my lesser devices.

So using Google Play Store on a web browser I am still able to purchase apps and 'pay it forward' so to speak and then I have them for the future, when I have my bad, a*s shiny new Android device.

Just buy them now and kill the download. You can download later on a device that is able to play them.
