There are replacement batteries, around for the XPERIA S.
Manufactured with the label of Gold. Come in over the 2000mAh size.
I don't think the NFC antenna is built into the battery.

No idea on the quality of the battery, but at least it's an option if the original battery is no longer serviceable.
