bradstewart: I was watching the I/O keynote this morning.
It isn't a special new S4, just the AT&T and TMobile variants (pretty much the i9505) with unlocked bootloader and Google releasing the updates alongside the Nexus devices.
16Gb with expandable storage.
No word if it will be added to AOSP though.

It's not a normal SGS4 . It runs pure Android 4.2 with no Touchwize overlay so it's basically a Nexus device..
Wade: Has hardware spec been confirmed?
It would be very lucky for the consumer if the GE rom could simply be installed on any old i9505, surely google/samsung have got some form of protection albeit most likely not enough to hold back the dev's from making it happen :P

kiwitrc: The HTC One is also looking to get the same treatment according to one of the feeds today, but without the SD and removable battery its really just another Nexus configuration, iAndroid.
