In March somebody at DPS sent out an update to a large number of EFTPOS terminals that said "herp derp eftpos" on the screen. Clearly the understanding of which would be beyond 99% of the population!

Maybe we need to use that to encourage customers to use PayWave/PayPass instead of inserting their chip card "herp derp touch card here"
