Krishant007: In terms of speakers.. Hmm, nothing actually beats HTC One. I personally have an HTC One and cannot rave about the front facing speakers enough. Just a joy to use - handsfree calling..being able to actually hear the ringer in a crowded place! Ahh the joys. You can have a hands-on experience of the Nexus in most 2 degrees stores. The first thing I usually do to test speakers and the screen is to go on Youtube and play the Avengers trailer (or Transformers 3) on HD on the phone. This trailer has a really good sound track that allows you to get most out of the speakers. Give this a shot
Regarding Kopkiwi's comments about LG G2 - yes this is a good phone indeed. I had a bit of play with it and was keen on trying it out. But in the end, the software seemed too annoying for me. It was the animations and cartoonyness of it that put me off. The LG and Samsung phones dont have a very professional look and feel in terms of software. HTC and Nexus clearly have the better software in my opinion at least.

Cheaper than all of those, best battery life of any of them. Best camera, fantastic screen and better specs than any, or at least on par with the Nexus 5.

Totally agree with this - have had mine ≈6 months after long consideration of Nexus/One/S4 etc. Very large screen for the phone size is a key point, as is the battery life - I easily get two days of medium/light use. Software is not a big issue - just change to other options if you don't like it.
Go for anything with Snapdragon 800 - S4 i9506, HTC One M8, S5, Note 3, Nexus 5, or LG G2. Wouldn't go for a S600 device (One M7, S4 i9505) at this point if your budget can stretch to S800. Much faster & with significantly better battery life.
