That's what TouchVoicemail said on Twitter last night.

michaelmurfy: I'm happy without voicemail. My phone rings forever, nobody can leave a message and I call then back if they're somebody I actually want to talk to.

Works well with me.

Problem with no voicemail is when you reject the call they just get a busy tone and many morons will call straight back even tho what they have to say is not urgent.

Not working here.

I get:

Registration Failed

ERROR, Please insert a valid BASE SIM card and try again.

Is that related?

Sounds like its trying to register the call forwarding on another network, but I have no idea.

Spark connection.

With Skinny we have an answer message service that it quite popular.  This plays a voicemail prompt but doesn't allow the caller to leave a message, so you can say something like "Please text me and I'll get back to you".

Oh so is that how Touch Voicemail works? You simply do call forward busy/no answer off to their service?

If so then there is little benefit to how I do it now by forwarding off to a 2Talk 028 number with voicemail-to-email set up.... unless the number you forward to is toll free for touch voicemail?

Edit: sorry did my own research, yes its just a call forward but i can't find out if it is toll free or not.

It's not going to be free as telcos will charge call forward. But if you are on a plan and have lots of minutes...

I use the iPhone version, I don't believe its free, it costs you minutes...whatever that means to you.

Work pays for unlimited minutes for me, so effectively its free for me.

I've got 1860 carry-over minutes with 2degrees currently, so no real issue here :)

Definitely seeing some variation in my place on the list -

Go to the registration link and below the button there's a link that switches it to see your position in the queue.

I see the forms's been changed so now they ask which operator you're using.
