the P8 lite has no problem playing it

I'm playing on a Voda Smart Prime. The AR mode does not work and it gets a bit sluggish after extended play but apart from  that I'm having a blast.

 

I've got pretty much the same experience on my Vodafone Smart Prime too. It's actually easier to play with AR turned off, the pokemon don't jump around so much, so no real lose there. The Smart Prime's are still selling for $150, a bit cheaper if you find one on sale.
