The tricky bit is when there are local variants, the seller websites don't always list the exact model number.

I have a Samsung J1 I use as an expendable for going out in the boat/kayak.  I chose it for it's price point and bulbous corners for grip.

 

Cost <$200. Works fine, does what it should.  I can tell you the touch screen still works through a sandwich bag if you have cold/wet fingers!  Works fine with weather, tide, maps and fishing rules apps. Other than that I don't test its capabilities all that much.

 

If a bigger screen is needed the J7 would be an option at $299.
