have to be layed down, and therefore go flat faster.
They go flat faster because they are laid down horizontal, or because it takes you longer to drink them?
Back on topic...
Manufacturer discount on one SKU that does not apply to the other perhaps?

It could be a NZ speciality.
I often see things like 500g of Mainland Tasty Cheddar for $7.99 and a Kilo for $11.99 - and people with poor maths skills putting several 500g blocks in the trolley...!
Perhaps it's all part of a giant maths test of the nation?
How much is NL selling the MSD card on it's own for?
I bought a 500g block of Mainland Vintage cheddar on the weekend for $7.50. I had initially grabbed the 250g block (more suited to my need), but that was $8. So I paid 50c less for double the amount of the exact same product.
That's exactly what I meant. You find that the cheese often has very long dates too. You can also cut it in half, put half in a ziplock and freeze it. Cheddar tends to be a bit crumblier after freezing but is perfectly edible and tastes just fine.
Cracking cheese, Grommet.
There is only 1 type or version of phone so surprised to see this different pricing.
You will probably find that there has simply been an error when marking down the phone and it hasn't extended to the bundle offer.
In my experience with Noel Leeming they have been very good at matching the prices once you are in-store anyway. I went in last week to see if they had any black PS4 controllers (on sale for $89.99) in stock. The guy said "no, but i can match that price on any other coloured ones if you like?" So i walked out with a Red controller for $89.99 (rather than $109.99).
Online shopping is great, but sometimes being in store allows for even greater savings!

I get the 500g blocks because the 1kg ones are unwieldy and go mouldy before I can get through them. Buying two 500g blocks, though... that's a bit of a head scratcher.
Maybe they are getting them for 2 people. When sealed, cheese can last for many months

You are assuming that you have the same usage patterns as the people buying the things to come up with a judgement like that.
I will buy 1.5l cokes even when the 2.25l works out cheaper simply because the 2.25s do not fit in the shelves of the fridge so have to be layed down, and therefore go flat faster.
I buy the smallest laundry powder because otherwise they go hard before I have finished the box stored in the laundry.
I get the smallest cheese and butter since otherwise they deteriorate before I finish them.
I will get 2 of 1 litre milks since that means I have milk in both fridges and a 2l will go off before finished.
1eStar: Only buy SD cards from Amazon.
A friendly tip brought to you by the geekzone community.
Make sure you are not buying products from companies that just use Amazon for fulfilment. Have been a few cases of counterfeit products being sold that way.

You can cut the cheese and the butter and freeze them.
I always freeze butter, as it freezes well. Cheese doesn't freeze well, however if you grate it first it is usually a lot better.
I smell a sale around the corner. They did that to something on my watchlist before. No proof unfortunately so I had no leg to stand on.
What is the discounted price now?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
I usually only buy memory cards from Adorama or B&H in the US or from Progear in Auckland.
There are so many cheap knock-offs around that it is just not worth risking your data to save a few dollars.
