This is also on my radar: Asus Zenfone 4 ZE554KL
Unsure what the pricing will be tho.
tchart:d3Xt3r: -1 for Xiaomi due to limited coverage (lacks band 28).
Lolz I'd rather one less band and have the 2 major OS updates I've had in the last year then any of the other major phone manufacturers who think we don't need updates or they are at the whim of telcos.
I've never had any problems getting 3 or 4g coverage unless I'm really out in the wops.
gsr:
+1 for P10 lite. It comes with 2 years warranty.
Except when you crack the screen as I did today on a less than 3 month old device
It took me a while to warm to the P10 Lite after coming from a Nexus, but once I got over its quirks, it functions as a phone should.
Still a few settings I miss that stock Android had and the P10 Lite doesn't ..

Sorry about your screen. They used to have a free screen replacement for the P9 lite. Looks like they do not offer the same for the P10 lite.
Moto G5 Plus I might be able to help if you are keen on 4GB RAM 64GB version.
PB just posted their stocktake sale with some good contenders:
LG V20 - $589.00
Meizu MX6 - $359.00
Motorola Moto Z - $698.00

invisibleman18: Posted elsewhere but I'm loving the Vodafone Smart V8 which is $350.
Am looking for something similar for a family member (under $400). Missed the Huawei P10 Lite deal from last month unfortunately. How are you finding this phone? Case availability etc seems limited.

How soon? Am looking for a phone for a family member but need one within a week or so :) Thanks.
If you're considering the Xiaomi 5x (and care about updates) go the newly announced Xiaomi MiA1. Which is basically the internals of the 5x, but on Android One = stock android, fluid updates. Guaranteed to get Android P apparently.

Would you know where to get this Xiaomi? It looks good.
Any reason it wouldn't work on 2Degrees? (I see it doesn't have band 28) what are the risks buying online i.e from AliExpress etc - Chinese ROM or something?
Is not having band 28 really that bad? I'm looking at some of the Xiaomi phones, particularly the Mi A1, but it seems almost no Xiaomi have band 28. If I'm someone who doesn't plan on using mobile data often or at all, who only needs texting and maybe the occasional call, could I get by without band 28?
pb, their redmi note 3 has band 28 .

I did see that but I'm looking for a more recent phone.
